Virtue for the month of December: Patience
As we enter into the second week of Advent we are reminded that this is a time for preparing our hearts and minds for the joyful celebration of our Lord's birth on Christmas. It is also a time to reflect on being patient for things we look forward to celebrating in our lives. This month, our school will be focusing on the virtue of patience. Patience is not just about waiting for things to happen, it's about waiting with a good attitude and with faith for God's purpose and plan to reveal itself. Please take some time during this advent season to ask your children about some ways they are practicing patience both at home and school.
Mega Gymnastics/Alexander's FUNdraiser tonight!

Grab your kids, friends, and family and make a night of it while helping to support our school. Flyers were sent home with students last week for both of these FUNdraisers. Flyers are required at the time of purchase for the school to get credit. Please feel free to share the attached flyers with other friends and family.

TRIP (Tuition Reduction Incentive Program) - Order sheet attached
The holidays are a great time to get extended family and friends involved in your TRIP fundraiser. Not only will scrip be a great way for them to pay for the holidays, but they'll also help out in saving on tuition for your family! It's super easy for them to sign up for an account or you can place the order for them. Either way the rebates will be credited to your tuition account. With so many people shopping and giving gift cards this season, why not take advantage of earning money towards tuition! Our next order will be placed on Monday, December 10th.
Please use the attached order forms if you would like to try out using scrip. Forms and payment need to be turned into the school office by 9:00 AM on Monday, December 10th. If you would like to share the forms with family members to increase your tuition credits, please feel free to do so. If you prefer to set up a new account go to https://www.shopwithscrip.com/ and click on the green "Get Started" tab at the top of the page. Enter in the school code "2CL3966D181" and start shopping! St. Edward's High School Christmas Concert this weekend
Dear Families,
My name is Chris Jones, I am the Music Director of St. Edward CCHS. I am reaching out to all of you to invite your school and church communities to our very special Christmas Concert this Sunday.  Our superb Jazz Band, Vocal Jazz Ensemble, and Concert Choir will be performing a wonderful selection of Christmas favorites on Sunday December 9th at 4:30pm in the St. Edward gymnasium.  What makes this year special is that we are not charging admission, however, we are asking that our guests bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate to our Toys For Tots toy drive.
If you are willing/able, I ask that you please share this information with your school and church communities either in digital or hard copy. We would love to have our deanery family join us as we enjoy some excellent holiday music and collect some toys for less fortunate children this Christmas season!  Thank you so much for your support. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
