FACTS Tuition Management - flyer attached
Beginning with the 2018-2019 school year, St. Catherine's will be using FACTS Tuition Management company to manage and process our tuition payments and statements. All families will need to sign up to use this service for their tuition payments. A letter from Miss Cannon was sent out to families last week explaining the details why we are moving forward with a tuition management company. Many of the local catholic schools and high schools are already using FACTS as a way of collecting tuition.
 
Families will be given three options in setting up their payments: A one time payment in full due in August; two semi-annual payments due in August and January; or a monthly payment spread over a ten month period beginning in August and ending in May. Book Fees and Technology Fees will still be due in July. Payments will need to be linked to a credit card or a checking account. An enrollment fee with FACTS is required for families choosing the monthly or semi-annual payment. Families choosing the option to pay the tuition in full in August will not be required to pay an enrollement fee.
 
A link to FACTS Tuition has been set up for our families on both Schoolspeak and our homepage www.st-cath.net. We will need all returning school families to register with FACTS by Friday, May 11th so that we have time to set up the accounts before billing begins in July. Families will need to be current with their tuition from this school year in order to register for FACTS. If you have questions about how to register or would like more information about FACTS, please contact the school office or Miss Cannon.
 
Join the fun at Bingo Night - flyer attached
Bingo is back at St. Catherine! We will have an exciting and fun Bingo Night on April 28 at 5:30 in the St. Catherine school gym for adults 21 and over. But, there is no need for a babysitter! There will also be kids bingo and other kids activities in the school lunchroom. More details coming soon!
 
Wayfair cards now available at Scrip! 6% Rebate
Sprucing up the house or yard for spring? Why not order some Home Depot (4%), Lowes (4%), Menards (3%) or Wayfair (6%) cards and earn credit towards your tuition! For a limited time, Shop with Scrip is also offering low denomination cards which are great for graduation and end of year gifts. Friends and family members can also participate in our Scrip program to help earn rebates towards your tuition.

Our next order will be placed on Monday, April 16th. Please have your TRIP order payment in the school office by 9:00 AM on Monday, April 16th if you have placed an order. If you have any questions about the program, please contact the school office.
 
Flower Sales for Mission Trip - Flyer attached
April showers bring May Flowers - and what gardener doesn't love flowers! St. Catherine's Youth Mission Team are currently taking orders for flowers, vegetable plants, hanging baskets, and other beautiful plants. Orders will be delivered on Wednesday, May 9th, before Mother's Day, so they would make a great gift for Mom or the gardener in you!
 
To place an order, please download the order form which is attached to this Dialogue and return the form along with the payment to the school office. Orders can be dropped off in the parish and school offices or after all Masses this weekend. All proceeds will support our summer mission team. Many of our St. Catherine alum are participating in this trip. Thanks for your support!!
  
Spartan Care position available for next year
We are currently looking to hire someone for our after school Spartan Care program for next year. The potential candidate should be available to work 2-3 days per week from 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm. This is a paid position. Please contact Miss Cannon if you are interested in applying for the job.
 
Volunteers Needed for the 7th/8th Boys Volleyball Tournament
St. Catherine's will be hosting the 7th and 8th grade Girls Volleyball Conference Tournament on Monday, April 23 and Tuesday, April 24. This tournament is a great way to raise funds for our Athletic program but it does require a lot of volunteers to cover all the games. Even if you don't have a child currently playing volleyball, please consider signing up to cover a game or two. It's a great way to get involved, help our athletic program, and see some really fun competitive volleyball. You can also help cheer on our Spartans to victory! GRASP Summer Program - (Flyer attached)
Flyers were sent home with students last week for the GRASP program which helps students maintain reading and math skills while they are on their summer vacation. The program should take approximately one hour a week to complete each lesson. New this year is the option for students in 4th - 8th grade to do the program online. K-3 will only have the workbook option. If you are interested in signing your child up for the program please complete the attached flyer and return it to school by Friday, April 20th.
 
Summer Tutoring with Mrs. Herman - flyer attached
Mrs. Leah Herman is offering individualized summer tutoring for St. Catherine of Siena students in grades K-5. Mrs. Herman previously taught at St. Catherine's as the 4th grade homeroom teacher and as our Reading Resource teacher. She will provide tailored instruction for your child in math, reading, and writing. Please see the attached flyer for more information. You may also contact Mrs. Herman at leahnbl@gmail.com.
 
7th and 8th Grade Dance at St. Joseph's - flyer attached
St. Joseph's Catholic School will be hosting a dance on Friday, April 27 from 6:30 - 9:30 pm for all students in 7th and 8th grade. Formal attire is required and students must bring their school ID for entry. The cost for admission is $5.00 and snacks and refreshments will be available for purchase. For more information, please see the attached flyer.  
 
May lunch orders
The site to place your May lunch orders is now open and will remain through Thursday, April 26th. May lunches will be offered through Friday, May 25th. Hot lunches will not be served during the last week of school. Please note that we will not offer a hot lunch option on Thursday, May 24th as that will be our all school picnic day. Student Council will be providing a hot dog lunch for all students and staff on that day.  
 
As a reminder, payment for April lunch orders is now due. May lunch payments are due by April 27th. Payment can be made by check or cash and should be sent to the school office. Thank you! 
 
Mega Gymnastics/Alexander's FUNdraiser! - flyers attached
Home and School is organizing two awesome FUNdraisers for our school on Friday, April 20th. MEGA Gymnastics will donate $5.00 back to the school for each $7.00 admission fee paid between 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm and Alexander's Restaurant will donate 20% of all food and drink purchases between 4:00 pm and 10:00 pm. Grab your kids, friends, and family and make a night of it while helping to support our school. Flyers were sent home with students last week for both of these FUNdraisers. Flyers are required at the time of purchase for the school to get credit. Please feel free to share the attached flyers with other friends and family.
