Reception for Mrs. Link
At the end of this year we will be saying goodbye to Mrs. Link who has been such a special and important part of our St. Catherine's family for sixteen years, first as a teacher and then as our principal. Please join us in celebrating Mrs. Link's many years of service for our school at a farewell reception to be held in her honor on Friday, June 2nd at 10:30 AM.
Summer Send Off Event!
Our summer send off event is right around the corner on Monday, May 22nd! Please make sure your child has turned in their permission slip with payment so that they will be bale to participate in this fun, new event for the school! This will be a dress down day for students and they should follow the guidelines for alternative dress down days found in the school handbook.
Tuition and Lunch Payments now Due
Tuition and lunch payments for the 2016-2017 school year are now due. Please remember, you are always able to set up monthly tuition payments through your SchoolSpeak account for easy automatic payments. Credit cards are accepted for use through the online option. If you need to speak with someone about your account, please contact the school office.
New Home and School Board for 2017-2018
Thank you to all the parents that were able to attend the Home and School Meeting last Tuesday. It was a huge success and we would like to welcome the following members to our Home and School Board for next year:

We would also like to say thank you to Mrs. Gina Griffin who has served on as our Home and School President for the last three years. We are very appreciate of all the time and effort she gave to our school in helping to raise funds and provide many activities and events for our school families. Thank you for doing such an amazing and wonderful service for our school!

Both the school and athletic program would like to say a special thank you to Mr. John Plummer who provided so many pictures for our yearbook! Mr. Plummer attended multiple sporting and school events this past year to capture so many special Spartan moments. We appreciate all of the time and effort you gave for such a special contribution to our school! Thank you!
Spartan Sweepstakes Winners

Bus Service Information - Flyer attached
Thursday, May 25th will be the last day bus service will be available for our students for this school year. Please make sure to have alternate transportation arrangements for your child(ren) beginning Friday, May 26th.
D300 will still provide afternoon bus service for the 2017 - 2018 school year. If your child is currently riding the bus or if you are interested in bus service for next year please complete the attached bus form and return it to school by Friday, May 19th. In order for students to be eligible for bus service they must live within certain D300 school boundaries. If you have any questions about the bus service, please contact the school office.
If you placed an order for the summer GRASP program, the book(s) were sent home with your child today. If your child will be doing the summer program with Mrs. Garay, she has the books and will give them to your child when the summer program begins. For students who be be completing the GRASP program online, parents will be emailed information directly from the Grand Rapids director about how to log in to access the materials for the program.
Danny Blatz Memorial 5K Run/Walk

Come join us to remember Danny and raise money for a good cause. All proceeds from this event will go to Learning Disabilities of America (LDA). The 5K Run/Walk will wind through the Hills of West Dundee and the Tartans Park neighborhood. Registration and race packets will be distributed at Huffman Park on race morning starting at 7:30 AM. Race will start at 9:00 AM. Race fees will increase by $5.00 on race day so sign up early! Please register at

Our annual Variety Show will be held on Thursday, June 1st at 1:00 pm in the school gym. We have many amazing acts again, as we always do, from our TALENTED, FUNNY, CREATIVE AND BRAVE STUDENTS :) All are invited to attend!

Only two scrip card order dates left.
Scrip cards will not be sold during summer vacation.
Plan ahead for summer spending and/or gift-giving (Graduates, Dad, birthdays, anniversaries, etc.). Our next order will be placed Monday, May 22nd. Have your payment in the school office by 9:00 am.
It's not too late to create your own online TRIP account by signing up at
and place an order for next week to start earning money towards your tuition. The code to create an account is 2CL3966D181.
The only way to continue receiving tuition rebates during the summer is through Presto Pay. If you are interested in activating the Presto Pay option in your account, simply set it up by following the prompts in your account. Once you get a 4-digit code, send it to Sara Wirkus, to complete the process.
