Collection for F.I.S.H. Food Pantry
Our 2nd graders will be doing a collection of items for babies and toddlers during Lent for the F.I.S.H. Food Pantry. They could use our help in collection diapers, wipes, blankets, pacifier, etc., to help with the needs of babies and toddlers in our area. F.I.S.H. cannot take jar baby food. Anything you can give will be greatly appreciated! Please bring the item(s) to school on or before April 11th. Thank you!
Stations of the Cross
Stations of the Cross will be available every Friday during lent at 2:15 PM and 7:00 PM. All are welcome!
7th Grade Parent Meeting 
All current 7th grade parents are invited to attend a meeting on Wednesday, April 19th at 6:30 PM to get information about the 8th grade trip for the March for Life that the students will participate in next January. We hope you will be able to attend.
Regional Science Fair Competition
We would like to extend good luck to the following students who will be presenting their Science Fair projects at NIU in Dekalb this weekend for the regional competition: Brenna Dooley, Hannah Dorley, Julian Heffelfinger, Jack Kazmierczak, Mariana Lewis, Isabela Mangahas, Chioma Nnodi, Joshua Nordan, Ethan Wagh, Dalia Acevedo, Monica Djordjevic, and Raja Tilkian. Great work, students! A special thank you to Mrs. Rossi for all her hard work preparing these students for the competition!
GRASP Summer Program - (Flyer attached)
Flyers were sent home with students last week for the GRASP program which helps students maintain reading and math skills while they are on their summer vacation. The program should take approximately one hour a week to complete each lesson. New this year is the option for students in 4th - 8th grade to do the program online. K-3 will only have the workbook option.
If you are interested in signing your child up for the program please complete the attached flyer and return it to school by Friday, April 14th.
Mrs. Garay will again be offering a summer session for parents interested in signing their children up with her to administer and monitor the completion of the GRASP program. Please look for more information to come out with regard to days and times for the summer session in the next few weeks.
Book Fees and Technology Fees Update
We will be making a few changes in our billing for the 2017-2018 school year. Our book fees and technology fees will be billed to families on July 1st and payment for these fees will be due by July 10th. Tuition payments will be billed to families beginning August 1st and will continue monthly through May. No payments will be due in June unless there is an outstanding balance on the account.
We will still continue to hold our annual Fee Day in August so that families can order milk, purchase bibles and gym uniforms, turn in physicals, look for used uniforms, and pick up Spartan Sweepstakes Raffle tickets. We hope this change in billing will make things easier for our families.

Looking to save money on your next tuition bill and raise money for the school? Many school families already participate in our TRIP program (Tuition Reduction Incentive Program) and earn back monthly rebates towards their tuition. Families order gift cards through the Great Lakes Scrip Program and receive back a rebate percentage on each card which is then applied towards tuition. We would love to add new families to this program!

Spring Shoe Drive
Hello School Families! Please join our high school youth in collecting gently used, worn, and new shoes for our Shoe Drive this spring! There is a box in the school lobby to collect the shoes. The collection will run through June 14th. Thank you for your support!
