Thank You St. Catherine Families!
The monetary gifts presented to us at the Christmas Program are greatly appreciated as are all the other holiday greetings and gifts. May you and your family receive one beautiful blessing after another during this Christmas season and throughout the new year.
Fr. DeBlock, Fr. Gow, Mrs. Link,
                                                                                                   Mrs. Wirkus, and Mr. Bernhard

Character Counts: Caring
"But a Samaritan, as he journeyed, came to where he was; and when he saw him, he had compassion, and went to him and bound up his wounds, pouring on oil and wine; then he set him on his own beast and brought him to an inn, and took care of him. And the next day he took out two coins and gave them to the innkeeper, saying, `Take care of him; and whatever more you spend, I will repay you when I come back.'" LUKE 10:33–35
In the spirit of Christmas and throughout the year let us reach out into the community to care for those less fortunate, focus on being kind, being compassionate, and expressing gratitude. Find a way to be forgiving towards others, and help people in need. With Christmas just a few weeks away there are many ways to show how we can care for others. During this Christmas season, please ask your children to come up with some ideas how they can be caring role models within their family, school and community!
St. Edward Central Catholic H.S. will administer the placement exam for current 8th graders on Saturday, January 7th, 2017. All current 8th graders interested in attending St. Edward must attend. Testing will begin promptly at 8:30 a.m., and will take approximately 3 hours. Please download the registration from our website, www.stedhs.org, and bring it to the testing day with the $15.00 fee. Please contact Mrs. Cholewa at acholewa@stedhs.org with any questions.

It's easy to set up by going to www.shopwithscrip, then go to your account. Once you get the 4 digit code from Great Lakes Scrip, send it in a message to Kim Janicki, via School Speak. Our next order will be placed on Tuesday, January 3rd, due to school being closed on Monday, January 2nd. Please have your payment in the school office by 9:00 am, or set up Presto Pay.
