Character Counts: Caring
With the beginning of December, so starts the third pillar of our Character Counts program - Caring! As Catholics we are called to practice our faith in a way that shows we care for others. December is the perfect month to show how much we care for the people in our lives. It also gives us opportunities to reach out into the community to care for those less fortunate. Some of the characteristics we will focus on this month are being kind, being compassionate and showing we care, expressing gratitude, forgiving others, and helping people in need. With Christmas just a few weeks away there are many ways to show we care for others. Please ask your children to come up with some ideas how they can be caring role models within their family, school and community! And the king will say to them in reply, ‘Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for the least of my brothers, you did for me.’ Matthew 25:40
